Terms of Service

Last updated: June 13, 2026

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of htmlslides (the "Service"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1.The service

htmlslides is an online platform that lets you import, play, share, and embed HTML presentations, and create them with the help of AI agents. We may add, change, or remove features at any time.

2.Eligibility and accounts

You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age of digital consent in your jurisdiction) to use the Service. You can sign in using GitHub or Google. You are responsible for activity that occurs under your account and for keeping your login credentials secure.

3.Your content

You retain ownership of the presentations, files, and links you provide ("Your Content"). You grant us a limited license to host, process, render, and display Your Content solely to operate the Service and to provide features you use, such as playback, sharing, and embedding.

You are solely responsible for Your Content and must have the necessary rights to it. You represent that Your Content does not infringe the rights of others or violate any law.

4.Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Upload or share content that is unlawful, infringing, malicious, or that contains malware.
  • Attempt to break out of the rendering sandbox, disrupt, overload, or gain unauthorized access to the Service or its systems.
  • Use the Service to harass, deceive, or harm others, or to violate the rights or privacy of others.
  • Scrape, resell, or misrepresent the Service, or remove any proprietary notices.

5.Intellectual property

The Service, including its software, design, and branding, is owned by htmlslides and its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. Except for the rights expressly granted to you, we reserve all rights in and to the Service.

6.Payments, credits, and plans

Some features require paid credits or a subscription. Payments are processed by Stripe and are subject to their terms. Prices and plans may change. Except where required by law, payments and credits are non-refundable. Credits have no cash value and may expire as described at the point of purchase.

7.Third-party services and content

The Service relies on and links to third-party services (such as GitHub, Google, Stripe, and hosting providers) and may display third-party content. We are not responsible for third-party services or content, and your use of them is governed by their own terms.

8.Disclaimer of warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.

9.Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, htmlslides will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, revenue, or profits, arising from or related to your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim or USD 100.

10.Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless htmlslides from any claims, damages, liabilities, and expenses arising out of Your Content, your use of the Service, or your violation of these Terms.

11.Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or if necessary to protect the Service or other users. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will survive.

12.Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date above. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

13.Governing law

These Terms are governed by applicable law without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Any disputes will be resolved in the competent courts of the applicable jurisdiction, unless otherwise required by mandatory law.
